Cooley Lodge
Cooley Lodge is a beautifully converted 19th century stone building set in a courtyard that nestles where the foothills of surrounding mountains, Slieve Foy (a.k.a. Carlingford Mountain) and Sliebh Na gLoch, run down to Dundalk Bay.
Three of the four bedrooms are en suite, two of these enjoy the same mountain views through casement windows leading out to balconies. Whilst the other two open out onto enclosed south facing patios.
Cooley Lodge is part of an historic walled property built in the 19th Century by James O' Hanlon, a direct descendant of the Lords of Oriel in Co. Armagh. It stands on the south facing plain at the base of the Cooley Mountains sheltered in the scoop of Dundalk Bay.
Enjoy the unfolding panarama of the Cooley Mountains from the conservatory exquisitely furnished with its comfortable sofa, armchairs, and rococo dresser. This opens out onto a sheltered and secluded private courtyard.
