Dundalk Farmers Market

Fridays 10am and 2pm

« Back

Dundalk has a long-standing tradition of street markets and stalls. In fact, Market Square at the centre of town got it's name fro being just that for many hundreds of years. The tradition carries on today with regular stalls on the street and indoor markets too.

We even get the occasional visit from travelling French Markets and the library / Museum space regularly plays host to local Farmers' Markets (Saturday mornings is a good bet). The official Dundalk Farmers' Market is found at The Square on Fridays between 10am and 2pm.

Look out for rare breed pork, fresh seasonal fruit and vegeatables, continental style bakery, local cheeses, fresh and smoked fish and delicious cakes and tray bakes. You can stock up on delicious ingredients and dishes for the weekend, meet farmers and producers personally and know you are buying the freshest, local produce.

There is also fresh vegetable stalls and common household goods available to buy any day of the week from the many full-time stalls in town.
