Carlingford Oyster Festival

Carlingford Oyster Festival includes the oyster pearl hunt, world crab fishing contest, street entertainment, oyster tent, food markets, sailing regatta, the famous Carlingford seafood chowder and artisan craft and food stalls.

There is also a festival street market of artisan food and craft stalls. On the menu of Carlingford's local restaurants are delicious fishy dishes, chowders and local cuisine.

 

Go back in time on a guided Medieval Tour of Carlingford, the children will enjoy a treasure hunt on the shore of Carlingford Lough exploring the shorelife and hidden treasures.

 

The magic show, face painting,teddy bear's picnic, crab fishing, kayaking and cookery demonstrations will also keep them busy.
