The Irish Maritime Festival
The award winning Irish Maritime Festival takes place place at the Port in the heritage town of Drogheda, Co. Louth. Every year, this busy commercial port transforms into a family friendly festival site. The mythical River Boyne and magnificent viaduct are the backdrop for all the fun that the Festival has to offer.
The Festival is a busy weekend both on and off the water and is always a brilliant event for families, with the action on the historic River Boyne all weekend not to be missed! Artisan food lovers will also adore what 2017 The Irish Maritime Festival has in store.
The Festival won the “Fáilte Ireland Best Tourism Initiative” award for 2015 and “The Public Sector Magazine Excellence in Business Awards” for 2016.
The Irish Maritime Festival at Drogheda Port is back on 10th & 11th June 2017 when another stunning fun-filled weekend is promised.
